Pierre Ferrand Reserve is a twenty year old Grand Champagne Cognac aged in French Limosin Oak barrels. Like other Pierre Ferrand cognacs, reserve does not carry a designation. Reserve would qualify however for an XO designation as the eaux de-vie age well exceeds the requirements for an XO cognac. All Pierre Ferrand cognacs are made from eaux-de-vie from the Angeac terrior that is part of the Grand Champagne growing cru, a micro-terroir that many consider to contain the finest parcels in Grand Champagne.
