Prince Hubert de Polignac

The name Polignac has ancient roots in the French nobility with the lines drawn back to the 800s. In 1947 the cooperative Unicoop launched the cooperative mark Prince Hubert de Polignac. They were allowed to operate from a French Commercial Counsellor of the same name, which came from this era. He also worked to promote the brand. And, since he worked abroad and visited other heads of state he promoted the brand in other countries. In 1959, Prince Hubert de Polignac official supplier of brandy to the Danish castle. Today it is marketed as Unicoops prestige brand.
