Post Bulletin: Cognac Is The Perfect Winter Drink

Ari Kolas, co-owner of Apollo Wine & Spirits, writes in the Post Bulletin something we agree with:

“Cognac is the perfect winter drink. We all have the  images of an aristocratic gentleman like Winston Churchill drinking from a snifter of brandy as he sits in his library with a warm fire burning in the background. It is the most enduring image of brandy I have.  But brandy is not just for old gentleman anymore. You can drink brandy or cognac on many occasions and in many ways. Classic Cognac brands like Hennessey and Courvoisier have become very popular in urban markets, as famous hip-hop and rap artists like Snoop Dogg and P Diddy have used and featured the brands in their songs and videos.”

Hey, Winter, Spring, Summer, or Fall are really the best times we think.  Imagine warming yourself in winter at this bar at the Hotel du Domaine du Breuil in Cognac France with snow outside.  Now if I could only find a way to check that full cabinet as luggage at the airport.
